Scape Wembley is ideally located for those seeking the excitement of London living but with a more laid-back experience. Nestled in a recently developed, yet still up-and-coming area just a short tube ride away from Central London, Wembley is an iconic location and home to the England Football Teams and some great entertainment spots. Living just a stone’s throw from the world-famous Wembley Stadium – widely regarded as the home of football – the SSE Arena and London Designer Outlet, you’ll be right in the heart of a superb atmosphere.
A short tube ride on the tube (Met or Bakerloo Lines) into Central London, you’ll be able to visit some of the world’s most famous attractions and iconic landmarks. Do some sightseeing at Buckingham Palace, or walk along the River Thames, enjoying London’s famous sights, culture and local charm and head back to Wembley in no time. Where can I go shopping in Wembley?
Wembley has seen a real boom in recent years, with a regeneration and the London Designer Outlet. With big-brand stores, designer fashion outlets and high street brands, you’ll be able to find everything you need and grab a bargain without going too far. After a bit more variety?
Jump on the tube and head into Central London, with the famous Oxfrod Street and Westfield for retail therapy at its finest. Whether it’s a new outfit, something to spruce up your new home or just a bit of window shopping, there’s plenty for you to choose from. Don’t forget to bring your Student ID for extra discounts!
What are the best places for food and drinks around Wembley?
Wembley and the surrounding areas are bursting with great foodie options. From independent cafés to high-end restaurants. RIght on your doorstep, you’ll find BoxPark Wembley, a pop-up mall full of independent street traders, food vendors, events and more. It’s become a staple of London and is the perfect place to go with your new flatmates and break the ice (aside from our Scape events!) Grab some pasta from Dez Amore, some fried chicken from the YouTube collective Sidemen’s spot, Sides, or a bubble tea, and other sweet treats.
If you’re craving something more traditional, London is full of pubs, bars and restaurants offering a wide range of food. Head into Kilburn or Ealing for even more choices, or go more central and check out places like Borough Market and Soho.
