Visit FAQWhat do I need to bring when I move in?
Studios in Leeds will come fully furnished and ready for you to move right in. You just need to bring along some bedding, cookware and a few everyday essentials. To help you pack, here’s a checklist of everything you need to bring for move-in day.
Can I live next door to my friend?
Living close to your friends is a great idea. The easiest way to make sure your group of friends live on the same floor is by booking together. Just reach out to our sales team at bookings.uk@scape.com and we’ll get it sorted.
Can I have guests stay overnight?
You’re welcome to have guests stay overnight. For security, you just need to check them in at reception or via the Scape student app.
What is the payment schedule?
To secure your booking at Scape Leeds, we require a 14 day upfront payment, which will later be deducted from your rent.
Thereafter, you can choose to pay upfront or in instalments. If you opt to pay by instalments, we do ask for an instalment payment each term. For residents moving in September, your first instalment and damage deposit will be due ahead of check in day. The second instalment will follow in January, with the third instalment due around Easter.
Are there any bills I have to pay?
No, in private student accommodations like Scape everything is covered in your weekly rent. This includes Wi-Fi, heating and electricity so you can relax and have fun without worrying about any costly surprises. This amount is fixed for the year so even when energy prices go up, your rent stays the same. From grab-and-go lunches to summer parties and socials, we also host regular events that are free to attend.
There are laundry facilities onsite run by Circuit. For this, there is a small payment needed per load.
Does Scape host events for residents?
Scape hosts regular events each month, from sports screenings to exercise classes and social hangouts. Most these are free to attend so you can opt in or out whenever it suits you.
