Visit FAQWhat do I need to bring when I move in?
En suites are fully furnished and ready for you to move in. There’s a mattress, storage space and worktop, you just need to bring along some bedding and everyday essentials. To help you pack, here’s a checklist of everything you need to bring with you for move-in day.
Can I live with my friends?
Yes, living with your friends is a great way to get the full uni experience. The best way to make sure your group of friends live together is by booking together. Just reach out to our sales team at bookings.uk@scape.com and we’ll take care of it.
Can I have guests stay overnight?
Your guests are welcome to stay overnight at Scape. For security, you just need to check them in at reception or on the Scape student app when they arrive.
What is the payment schedule?
To secure your room at Scape Leeds, we require a 14 day upfront payment. This will be deducted from your rent, so don’t worry.
You can then choose to pay upfront or in instalments. If you choose to pay by instalments, there will be a payment each term. For residents moving in September, your first instalment and damage deposit will be due before check in day. The second instalment will be in January, and the third instalment around Easter.
Are there any bills that I must pay?
We’ll take care of bills. At Scape, everything is included in your weekly rent, including Wi-Fi, heating and electricity. This amount is fixed for the year so even when energy prices go up, your rent stays the same, no stress. From free lunches to sports screenings and socials, we also host regular events that are free to attend.
There are laundry facilities onsite run by Circuit. For this, there is a small payment needed per load.
