Visit FAQWhat do I need to bring when I move in?
Your apartment will come fully furnished. This includes all the core furniture like mattress, kitchen appliances, desk chair, and built in storage. The kitchenette appliances are all built in. The apartment won’t include bedding, or kitchen equipment like pots and pans. Check out our checklist for move in day.
If I want to live with a friend is an apartment the best option?
Yes, an apartment is a great option if you and a friend want to live together. If you’re looking for your own space but want to live near your friend, booking studio apartments next door could be another good option. Or if you want to meet more people, you could live in a en suite room. Sharing a living space with other students. The best way to make sure you and your friend live together is by booking together. Can I have guests stay overnight?
Yes, guests can stay overnight. As a Scape resident you will need to check your guests in at reception or via the app. This should be done in advance of your guests stay.
What is the payment schedule?
When you book to live with us, you can choose to pay upfront, or in instalments. If you select to pay by instalments, we do ask for an instalment payment each term. For residents moving in September, your first instalment and damage deposit will be due ahead of check in day. With your second instalment due In January, and your third instalment due around Easter.
To book a room at Scape Hammersmith we require a 14 day upfront payment. This is later deducted from your rent.
Are there any bills that I have to pay?
At Scape, everything is covered in your weekly rent, including all utilities and bills, gym membership and superfast Wi-Fi so you can relax and enjoy student life without worrying about overstepping your budget. This amount is fixed from the start so even when energy bills go up, your rent stays the same.
There’s no need to find your own energy, gas and Wi-Fi suppliers, everything's already set up and ready so you can get settled in straight away.
How can I meet other residents?
Unlike other student halls, we have a packed events calendar hosting regular on & off-site events. These events range from grab and go breakfast, to social mixers and summer parties. Attending the events is a great way to meet other residents in your building and other students living at Scape.
