How fast are the travel links & connections ?
Living in zone 1 means travel is super convenient, your commute to uni will be quick. Hammersmith is a transport hub, with access to multiple tube lines from the underground stations, Piccadilly, District, Circle & Hammersmith & City – all within walking distance of Scape Hammersmith. There are also several bus routes on your doorstep.
If you fancy venturing a little further afield, great neighbourhoods like Fulham, Notting Hill, Chiswick, and Shepherd’s Bush are on your doorstep.
How quick will my commute to university be?
Your commute to campus will be easy from Scape Hammersmith. With a mix of tube lines, you’ve got quick access to the whole city and any university of London campus.
Travel to Imperial College main campus in South Kensington or White City within 20-minutes via the tube. If you’re based out of UCL main campus, it is also easy to get to on the tube. Be on campus within 30 minutes. Roehampton University is a short hop across the Thames, traveling by bike or bus. If you study at UAL, Central St Martins and Chelsea College of Arts are also within easy reach.
What is there to do in Hammersmith?
Hammersmith is an artsy riverside area, home to some world-renowned entertainment venues. Enjoy an eclectic production at the Lyric Theatre, live music at The Empire, or a budget-friendly production at Curtains Up, a fringe theatre venue attached to a local pub. Hammersmith is well known for live entertainment. With daily comedy and music gigs, Hammersmith Eventim Apollo is a great place to enjoy London entertainment – and is only 5 minutes down the road.
Do you love watching live sport? Queens tennis club is just around the corner and is best known for holding the Men's warm up for Wimbledon each June. Hammersmith riverside is also a great place to watch the boat race that takes place between Oxford and Cambridge University each spring.

What types of rooms can I choose from?
If you're looking for a place on your own, Scape Hammersmith could be right for you. The property is made up of a range of studios, with a choice of sizes to rent. We have a number of different-sized private spacious apartments and studio apartment options. No need to worry about a messy flatmate!
Unlike dormitory-style accommodation like uni halls and student houses or students' flats, you don't have to share. It is worth knowing that every London studio flat comes with a private shower room, kitchenette, and a double bedroom. Each tenancy is organised around a set contract length. Your lease is with Scape rather than a third-party intermediary.
What communal spaces are there at Scape?
There are communal spaces to bring everyone together, as well as secluded spots for you to relax, recharge and study. Our communal areas include spacious lounges, a games area, open kitchen and bar space, a cinema, a state-of-the-art fully equipped gym, a private dining room, a landscaped courtyard garden, study booths, pods, and meeting rooms. There is also a laundry room (using circuit laundry machines), secure bike storage and a reception team available 24/7. Each floor can be accessed via stairs or lifts.
Do you host regular events?
We aim to make your experience of living at Scape fun. Yes, we host weekly events which are a mix of on-site events and activities around the city. From Friday night hangouts to Superbowl screening, swap shops, and getting competitive with go-karting. Most events are free to attend. For some off-site events there are limited spaces and there is a low-price set to secure your spot.
