All the amenities and modern facilities, such as an on-site gym and cinema room are included – everything you need to live uni life to the full! How is Scape Guildford different to other accommodation providers?
When searching for and choosing your student accommodation in Guildford, there are several housing options and properties available. If you are going into your first year of university, typically your choice is between halls on campus and purpose-built student accommodation (PBSA), such as Scape. In your search, you will find that university halls are an easy option for many for student housing, but they tend to be quite basic in terms of amenities and often you are randomly selected for a room regardless of your preferences. It can be very difficult to get an en suite room – which could mean sharing a bathroom with up to six others.
In comparison at Scape all our rooms are en suite as standard, our shared spaces are premium and newly refurbished, and you have access to excellent facilities-such as an on-site gym, cinema room, games area with table tennis and landscaped terrace. When compared to other PBSAs, our shared spaces and facilities are of a higher spec, and we have fully trained Scape staff on-site 24/7.
In other years of your studies, you will most likely have limited options if you wish to live in halls on campus, but you do have the option to move into private accommodation with more space, such as a flat, apartment or living in a house shared with friends. With this option, there is no guarantee of an en suite room either. Typically, privately rented student houses are not of the highest quality, your bills won’t be included - you will need to organise the payment of these. You could instead choose to live in one of our large apartments with friends and continue to enjoy all the benefits that Scape offers, including not having to worry about bills and getting your communal areas cleaned on a regular basis.
