To secure your booking, we only require a small deposit (typically around two weeks’ rent), and no additional payments are needed until the month before you move in.

When selecting your student accommodation, your options will vary depending on what year you’re in. With so many rental properties and listings available, it can be overwhelming to make the right choice. That’s where we come in—we want to make your decision easier. 

For first-year students, the typical options are university halls or purpose-built student accommodation (PBSA), like Scape. While university halls might be a good fit for many, they often have basic facilities and securing an en-suite room can be difficult, meaning you may have to share a bathroom with up to six people. At Scape, every room—from en-suites to studios and shared apartments—comes with a private bathroom as standard. Our shared spaces are modern and newly refurbished, and you’ll have access to amenities like an on-site gym and a cinema room. Compared to other PBSAs, Scape offers more central and convenient locations, higher-quality shared spaces, and fully trained staff on-site 24/7. Plus, all your bills and utilities are covered in one monthly rental payment. 

In your second or third year, student halls may no longer be an option, and you might consider moving into a private flat or sharing a house with friends. However, private rentals don’t always guarantee an en-suite room, and they often exclude bills and lack support services. Alternatively, you can stay at Scape in one of our larger apartments with friends and continue to enjoy all the benefits we provide—such as inclusive bills and regular cleaning of shared areas like the kitchen. 

For postgraduate students in London, we understand the challenge of finding affordable accommodation close to your university. Many postgraduates prefer more privacy, which we offer in our studio apartments. All our London locations provide comfortable and private living setups to suit your needs.

That really comes down to which area you would like to live in and how close you want to be to Middlesex's main campus in Hendon, North London. All our residencies include the same benefits: en-suite rooms, a range of room types to choose from (including a studio), thoughtfully designed spaces with students in mind, modern communal spaces. Plus, excellent amenities including study zones, gym, cinema room, laundry, secure bike storage, regular socials and events.

At all of our Scape properties, your commute to campus is easy, but getting to the city centre is still super simple.  Here is a list of the times from some of our Scape locations to campus:  

• Shoreditch  - 50-minute tube to the main campus. And Scape is just a 3-minute walk to Old Street station for quick access to the rest of London.  Bloomsbury 45-minute tube to Middlesex main campus. Central London is on your doorstep with easy access to all underground lines.  

• Wembley - 30-minute tube or bus journey to Middlesex main campus. Wembley Central station has fast connections to central London via the Jubilee & Metropolitan line. 

You can book by hitting the 'Book this room' button in the checkout panel on the right-hand side of the page, once you've chosen your location, room and floor. Everything is done online, it’s fast and easy! You can also call the Sales team who will talk you through the steps, the fees and answer any of your questions on availability and the contract.  

We accept most debit and credit cards to confirm a booking (except American Express). Your payment must be completed online as we have limited payment facilities on site. For installments, log into your Scape portal and navigate to the 'My Account' section to make a payment. Alternatively, you can pay via TransferMate, a quick, easy and secure online bank transfer for international students. Unfortunately, we do not accept any cheque or cash payments - please also note if you are an international student, you will need a valid visa before signing your lease.

The tube is the most common, easiest and quickest way to get around the city. Each Scape building is really well connected to the tube network, getting you to the major universities and neighborhoods. Buses are also great for a more budget-friendly travel option.
