We know it’s a little daunting moving into a new place, but we make it easy to meet new people. Get to know Scape residents from across the city at our Welcome Party or make the most of our large communal areas and exciting events calendar.
Whether you’re bonding over games night or enjoying some drinks at our summer BBQ, you’ll be surrounded by a supportive community from day one.
What communal spaces are available?
We have a variety of shared spaces to bring everyone together along with secluded spots for you to study and relax.
This includes spacious lounges and games areas, communal kitchens, cinemas, fully equipped gyms, libraries and study zones. Each area is specifically designed to serve a unique purpose, setting a new standard for student living.
Are there attractions and things to do near Scape?
All of our buildings are centrally located with loads to do right at your doorstep. Our London locations are a short distance from world-famous attractions like the West End theatre district, Royal Parks and famous street food markets. While Scape Guildford is situated in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, with plenty of walking trails and green spaces close by.
In North England, Scape Leeds is only a short walk from Call Lane with many bars, clubs and brunch spots to keep you busy. Whether you’re into nightlife, wellness or exploring the city, there’s always something to do just around the corner.
Can I live with my friends?
Unlike university halls where rooms are randomly assigned, Scape gives you the flexibility to choose. Living with friends is a great way to get the full university experience, with all the added Scape benefits. The best way to make sure your group of friends live in the same apartment, is by booking together. Just reach out to our sales team at bookings.uk@scape.com and we’ll take care of the rest.
You can also refer a friend and earn a cash voucher for every friend who decides to book with us. T&Cs apply.
Can I have guests stay overnight?
You’re welcome to have guests stay overnight, you’ll just need to check them in at reception or in the app for security.
What support services are available to Scape residents?
Our on-site teams are trained in mental health and first aid, so residents have immediate access to informed, empathetic support whenever it’s needed.
With our open-door philosophy, you’re invited to reach out either in-person or through instant chat on our app - whichever you’re most comfortable with. We host regular focus groups and share weekly bulletins to make sure you’re heard and supported throughout your stay.
How do I get to university from Scape?
Scape is centrally located close to most major universities in the cities we reside. We’re also nearby public transport, like buses and trains, so you can get to campus quickly and easily - even if you are a little further than walking distance.
