At Scape we are proud to be a leading provider of student accommodation with over 12 years' experience in London, Guildford, Australia, and in September 2024, we are launching our first building in Leeds.  We have over 25,000 student rooms and over the years we have been home to many students. 1. Thoughtful amenities for student wellbeing

Scape takes student wellbeing seriously. To make sure things are running on the ground smoothly and everyone is kept safe, we have a 24/7 team in the buildings, many of whom are first aid & mental health first aid trained. Health emergencies can arise at any time, and having trained staff available around the clock ensures that students receive prompt assistance when needed. This commitment to safety and well-being directly contributes to the creation of a secure and supportive living environment that helps our students feel supported and happy in their new homes.   

2. Huge dedicated laundry rooms

Laundry is a chore that no one particularly enjoys, especially busy students juggling lectures and socialising. At each of our Scape buildings, we solve this for you with large laundry rooms with machines run by Circuit Laundry. With a laundry room with multiple washers and driers conveniently located within the building’s premises, our residents can forget about lugging their laundry to external laundry services – or home to mum and dad. If you’ve not really done your own laundry before then don’t worry, there are super clear instructions and a simple website and app to use to pay for your wash loads. Just separate your washing into light and dark colours (to keep your clothes looking their best), add them to the washing machine, add some washing powder, and follow the instructions. The seamless integration of Circuit Laundry into Scape's amenities is just another small way to show how life can be easier at Scape.    

3. Bookable cinema room

Grab the popcorn, your mates, and some snacks, and head down to the cinema room. What better way to unwind from the demands of university life than a movie night with friends?! Our cinema rooms are bookable for our residents to reserve and enjoy, be it streaming the footie or to keep up to date with new releases. Just plug in your laptop and you’re off. 4. Fully equipped gym with 24/7 access

Maintaining a healthy lifestyle is integral to success, both physically and mentally. In each of our buildings, we encourage healthy lifestyles and our residents have access to the 24/7 on-site gym which allows students to keep up with their fitness goals when it suits them. Why not book regular sessions with your flatmates or friends in the building. Each gym has free weights, running machines, cross trainers, rowers, and bikes as well as a mat area, yoga mats, and plenty of space. You can also change the colour lighting and plug in your music, workout how you like when you like!   

5. Keep in the loop with our resident app

Have the best of the front desk in your front pocket. From your parcel delivery notifications to maintenance requests to event invites – get all your Scape info at the touch of a button on the Scape App. This is super easy access to your essential services that will keep you connected with the Scape community. 6. Events and socials

For students, it is often their first time living away from home and it brings some people a new opportunity to get out and about and socialise how they choose. We get it, the university experience is not just about academics; it's also about making friends and creating memories. Every semester we organize events and socializers, starting with big events in freshers to help you make friends. This year we hosted a huge party in Ballie Ballerson, lots of speed mating and quiz nights amongst some alternative events like sip and paint, yoga, puppy therapy, and more! We have a dedicated events team that works really hard to put on events that our residents will love. Our events are led by a community-centric approach that contributes to a vibrant and inclusive living environment boosted by our amazing events. PS. 7. Great Location

8. Storage storage storage!

One of the first things that catches the eye when entering a Scape student room is the lack of clutter. The lack of stuff! In each of our rooms, we have cleverly curated bespoke space-saving storage. In all rooms, we have under-bed storage. You simply use the handles to easily lift your double mattress, and voila – loads of hidden storage! Each room also has a fitted wardrobe with full-length hanging space and shelves. Plus, you also get a set of drawers next to the bed. You can be sure you will also have plenty of shelves in your room for all your study books and belongings from home or that accumulate over your time at university.    Having lots of storage is so important, enabling our residents to get organized. The ample storage not only makes the room appear more spacious but also encourages a clutter-free environment – a vital factor in maintaining a conducive study atmosphere.
