The River Thames is the perfect way to get some air and stretch your legs and reset in the outdoors. This is one of our favourite Hammersmith attractions to make the most of on your doorstep. Runners, walkers and cyclists can pound the pavements along the iconic Thames Path, which runs through Hammersmith with some of the best views in London, of the river and Hammersmith Bridge. It’s the perfect spot for a jog, a peaceful walk, or even a spot for lunch with friends. Plus one of the best bits is the regular placement of super cosy pubs like The Dove and The Blue Anchor, which offer a quintessential British pub pub experience. Grab your coat and mates and head out for a nice walk with a pint and chip stop!

For students looking for a day of retail therapy then Kings Mall Hammersmith is the go-to destination right on the doorstep of Scape Hammersmith. This compact shopping centre has loads of the high-street brands, independent retailers, and even budget-friendly grocery stores for all your essentials. From grabbing a quick snack to browsing cute clothes bits, Kings Mall is perfect for students tight on time, who need convenience and variety without breaking the bank.

Riverside Studios is a cultural hub which hosts a range of events and film screenings. We recommend keeping an eye on their website to see what is coming up, but you can often see a range of events and exhibitions from film screenings, live performances, talks, and art exhibitions. The Riverside also has a stylish café and bar which are lovely spots to hang out with friends and chill after a busy day.

When you want to let your hair down and head out of drinks, you’re spoilt for choice in Hammersmith. There are so many cocktail bars for you to check out including Be At One and Smiths which both serve up creative drinks (at an affordable price) in a buzzing atmosphere.
